most of these processes

just seem to be a transfer of debts from one owner to the other, but in so doing allow more money to be spent (or more debts to be accrued). And this seems to be acceptable business practice.

This isn't just the case with the clubs in/out of admin but Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester Utd.

What is really sad is that there are clubs like Stockport that haven't had this happen and there's a very good chance they'll fall out of the league altogether. But as a non-glamour club then there's no focus, and no benefactor rushing in to move the debts around.

It must be sickening for them to see Soton moving out of trouble with such ease. But I fear that there is more to come there - as people are saying it's not just about getting out of admin. And much as the media would like to think that adding ten points to Southampton's tally would take them into an automatic promotion spot, my basic maths suggests differently. So if they have a difficult start to next season then the highly-paid players may start to look elsewhere (does Lambert really want to play another season at this level) and the bills will start to mount again.
