Oh, Gerrard as deputy captain? Very predictable and equally as appalling as having Ferdinand as captain.

If I was a professional footballer (for the money, yes please) I'd find it very hard to respect someone like Ferdinand, Terry or Gerrard as my captain.

Still, it's only football....
