The problem with Gunn post the managerial debacle is that he has shown very little remorse or grace and, you think, he bears quite a grudge. Some of it may be justified. But I think he loses a point off his legend status every time he refuses to acknowledge any errors on his part.
I don't want to stop loving Gunny for all the great years, but perhaps he should realise that it is time to move on, and perhaps the sensible thing would be not to accept the offers to be a pundit until he's lost the sub-agenda and is back to enjoying Norwich as a fan and great former player again, rather than a miserable ex-manager.
If this is a successful season, then I think it will be much easier to forgive and forget, but whilst there is still this undercurrent of "I would have achieved the same, you've all been rather horrid to me" then it's going to run on.
