My thoughts plus the big picture

I feel gutted for all the fans travelling today all that way.

The club should treat you like kings.

I feel the club should reward the loyalty of those fans and maybe reward them with say a free ticket to a cup match next year or if we are involved in the playoffs this year they should be rewarded with at least a free ticket.
(as well as the obvious refund of todays ticket)

If we look at the big picture with a less emotional stance.
(easy for me because I didn't make that journey)
You can't blame Lambert for getting the game called off.
As already stated the ref is free to ignore if he feels its playable.
Refs ignore the pleas of managers all the time.

The big picture is that it's to our advantage to get the game called off.
Playing 2 games in 2 days vs a team who we found hard to breakdown last time is not a good situation.

We are carrying a number of minor injuries plus players such as Askou and Spillane will probably be fit when we re-arrange the fixture (plus any players we buy in the window)
We will now be well rested/healed for a slightly easier fixture on Saturday.

Our number one and only goal is promotion. getting the game called IMHO gives us a better chance of getting 3 points from this fixture in the future.
