They seem to have changed the rules of cricket
Ball hits pad, Hawk Eye has a tolerance of 2.6mm, that ball hit 50% of leg stump, therefore it HAS to be given out if you're going to use the technology.
If they don't trust it, don't use it.
What if it had been given out, the Safricans had referred it, and it had been shown by Hawk Eye to be hitting 50% of leg stump. By their reckoning, it would have been given not out, which would be totally ludicrous.
