when I had it I didn't make a fuss at all

even though i had the world's worst case of it ever with symptoms so severe they probably would have killed a herd of elephants. I didn't make a big thing of it at all though. Despite nearly dying. My wife only recently remarked that I had hardly mentioned it at all, despite the crippling severity of it despite my life being in balance and the debilitating pain that I endured without comment. She said she thought I might have had a slight chill for a day. Such was my forbearance. But I reckon that's normal for us men. Women would go on and on about it for ages. Even a slight case. Unlike mine. Which was severe. But I don't like to go on about it. Especially the pain. And the nausea. Just get on with it me.
