You could say the same thing about any player.

The trouble with Hoolahan is he doesn't pick out the right option very often and isn't good enough to do it on his own.

Anyone can be a good footballer if they play with great players, truly great players are great regardless of who they play with.

Hoolahan looks average in an average team, which says it all really.
