Ok, my point is

Had he been told at the end of the season (as should have happened) "thanks for trying, but we're going to go with someone more experienced" it would have been completely acceptable and fine. Instead to give him a contract, money to choose players and then ONE game (it's not two games is it, as the 4-0 win was clearly irrelevant) to prove himself, it's unacceptable and the kind of way I expect clubs like Newcastle to treat their people.
