it's an ongoing process. I think things are slowly improving on that front

but not as quickly as on the racism issue obviously because it hasn't received nearly as much support and publicity.
Personally I also think that footballers won't come out not because of abuse from fans, but abuse from fellow pros, what with sharing baths, the generall low edcation levels of footballers etc etc.

And as for the Spanish (and nearly all nations's fans), they make monkey noises, chant racist chants AND chant homophobic abuse. We're 30 years ahead of them
