As I understand it, insomnia can be caused by many things

I saw a documentary not so long ago about a bloke who had insomnia, sleepwalking & awful nightmares (from Norwich as it happens) who smoked about 60 a day, drank umpteen cups of coffee and about 8 energy drinks a day. Not sure why they bothered to make the doc because it wasn't exactly rocket science where the problems were. Anyway they took him to a sleep centre (in Endinburgh if I remember correctly) for a week and got him cured (stopped his caffeine habit and got him to cut down on smoking and take some regular exercise).
