cool. I stay 5 years behind on technology

so I can 'upgrade' cheaply, instead of buying something amazing, and it breaking down, then reverting to adequate after experiencing brilliant

I've just finished replacing the crt monitors in the house to 15inch flat screens cos I can get them for ?25

The pc and laptops in the house are only 512mb ram, but I gotta say, it's fast enough really. I'd notice it if it was a 1gb, but I'll wait till pc towers/stacks are down to ?40-?50 to get one

Same with 1gb laptop ram, I'll wait till someone I know will accept a ?100 for one with 120gb hard drive and look forward to 'newer' features that way
