I know what you're saying but I didn't explain my point properly,

I really don't see the point of swapping him for a forward. We only seem to be linked with forwards these days and we may end up in the same position as we did a few years ago where we had loads of players for one position and none for another. I agree, he's not that great but he's better than anything else we had in midfield last season. We can't afford to be replacing him with a forward.
