Good, right happy with that, IF IF IF IF IF IF IF we get someone up top that can actually
f**king move.
He's useless with static frontmen unable to make space and link with him (as we saw for most of last season).
Stick a couple of players up there prepared to move, and who can think a little and he's very useful.
Had he been fit at the end of the season i've no doubt he would have kept us up with Mooney and Gow upfront.
FWIW i think he might work quite well with QD and Martin. QD is quick and willing, Wes should be able to hit the space for his running.
Martin (when he wants to) will move around the pitch, happy to take the ball to feet deep or wide, which can open up space for Wes to get it back in.
Basing this on never having seen the three of them together of course, but it should work quite well.
