Oh and the House of Lords report you link to doesn't 'accept that some of it works' at all

As they say, "the question of efficacy was not included in our initial terms of reference"

but they make their views pretty clear:

"Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) includes a large range of therapies....A few have begun to build an evidence base, most have not."

and

"Very little high-quality CAM research exists."

You may choose to believe that some of this stuff works. But that Lords report is pretty clear that there ain't much evidence in your favour.
