I agree, comparing him to Grant (when in more knowledge of his record) its a bizarre decision.

As you pointed out though, he'd been overlooked by many other clubs.
So, from that point of view, is there not a reason why?

Seems we had.

Essentially I agree, poor decision, which doesn't really surprise me anymore.

However, I don't think its an appointment that would have gone down well with a lot of fans had it been made.
