financially underpin a long slow lingering death in the vain hope that the current board stumble across a miracle (because frankly the signs of them turning it round are very feint) or apply a bit of "tough love" in the hope that NCFC still retains a healthy fanbase at games and is an attractive investment opportunity for an individual or consortium.
