They could've reflected on what happened at Charlton, and ensured they brought new people

Onto the board before appointing a manager. But nope. Instead, the most shocking decision yet was made, showing yet again they've learnt precisely nothing. And the press conference they gave to announce it was TERRIFYING. The tone couldn't have been more sombre or less inspiring had The Queen's death been announced instead!

They've openly admitted they've run out of ideas (when MWJ said this at the AGM, that was when the alarm bells really started ringing for me in terms of relegation), show no sign of knowing how or being able to attract any invstment, are just muddling on instead of coming up with new ideas and a whole new strategy... and appointed Gunn, Crook and Butterworth because, in Delia's words, "they deserve it". But as Richard Balls said tonight, 25000 fans deserve rather a lot more.

It's not bad luck which has got us to this point. It's bad management. And when those in charge just continue blindly along the way, there's every chance it'll lead to further trouble. 16th place is my bet for next season - and by the end of it, I suspect the board and most of the fans will be at daggers drawn.
