How much did the turners departure have to do with that?
Wasn't it another ?2.5 they were meant to be giving us?
I do wonder how much of that was ear marked for transfers, prompting the ruthless cull of the squad.
I do wonder if Roeder did this, got Hooly, Bell etc in, then found out a large part of his remaining budget had suddenly walked out the door, leaving him slightly screwed.
