Seems a fair description to me
In the first few minutes I honestly thought we were playing 3-5-2, (I missed them lining up as I was getting back to my seat), as Shackell was so far inside and Lappin seemed to be further up the pitch.
It was then pointed out to me that we were in 4-4-2 with Shackell at left back. I was amazed, as the last couple of times we have played Charlton their pacy winger Hector Sam has looked quite good against us. Plus, it seems every time Shackell has ended up at left back having to move over to cover he seems to get stuffed and we concede a goal.
I would have played Lappin there
