To say that comedy vehicle is hit and miss, is generous

even the material he's repeating from his own back catalogue, isn't coming accross as funny as it did in the past (and that's the pull of Lee, is his material gets funnier on second third and onward listens)

A lot of the bbc thing comes across a bit forced, or rushed, as if every episode has been filmed in a day, just the audience have shuffled about into different seats

Glad he's back on TV, but can't help thinking he hasn't taken the opportunity whole heartedly

That pope lollipop gag, is brillo, yet he delivered it like he was just going through the motions last night. Maybe it was hilarious for everyone else and I'm being over critical
