So they will contact you (and everyone else on their books) whenever a new job comes in. It does not matter how vaguely the job description matches your skills and aspiration, they will still contact you. They will gradually forget about you, though, so eventually they will not contact you even if they a new job comes in that exactly matches your skills and aspirations.

They exist largely on commission so never be under any illusion that they give a flying f**k for anybody but themselves. Agents of all kinds are the lowest form of scum.
