Find out who the companies advertising are and apply direct.

Try to avoid Personel (I think it's called "Human Resources" these days) and send your CV directly to the head of whichever department you are interested in.
That way, you cut out all the middle men who don't have a clue what you can do and don't have a clue what the job requires.
