I struggled with Naked Lunch too. I'm not actually sure it was worth the effort.

Although I'm sure I'd be castigated for suggesting that in some circles.

Kakfa On The Shore is tremendous - I picked it up never having heard of the author before or hearing anything about the book, so I had no expectations whatsoever, and it blew me away - simply brilliant book.
