If somebody says the same thing 900 times, can you concede that the reason for that is that it could perhaps be true, and it's your own cynicism that is turning it into spin ???

If I owe a grand, then get a mortgage for 300k, my debt has still gone up to 301k. Doesn't mean to say I've pissed all that money away, or have been irresponsible etc etc. And that's despite income from a job and several girlfriends who have spent it as they saw fit.
