Obviously it's not CD quality; but not so bad these days

Believe it's 256kbps M4A these days, which is more or less equivalent to 320kbps MP3, which they reckon most people can't distinguish from CDs.

But I do think that most iTunes tracks are expensive for what you get (this goes for all other sites that charge cash for digital music). I'd much rather have the CD and make my own copies.
