Thing is, he wasn't being booed that much

in fact, there were hardly any boos at all. His substitution was cheered, but that's happened hundreds of times. What he had was nothing compared with what the Arsenal fans have done to Eboue and Bendtner. Still, I'm pleased he's done it, because it will help the team that he's not playing, both from the point of view that he's not very good, and because the atmosphere will be better.
