I'm a little bit uncomfortable about the Foth thing.

"He was dropped because he was getting booed".

Not sure that sends a good message to them what think booing individual Nodge players is a good thing.

Much prefer it if he'd said "He was dropped because he wasn't playing well/head wasn't right/whatever." Something that makes it look like it was Gunn's decision, not that the fans made the decision and Gunn went along with it.

Man Utd fans were roundly booing Ryan Giggs a couple of seasons ago - think Ferguson ever entertained the idea of telling them "Yeah, OK, fair do's, you don't like him, I won't play him."
