It's about current reactions though. If Gunn was in charge against Charlton and the same

result happened, instead of the sacking, because it would have been his first game in charge, the reaction would have been different

It would have more likely revolve around "we didn't have all our players available, so it wasn't a first choice team", or that others were getting a go because it wasn't an essential game to win etc etc

Instead, even though it was the above, it served as a great chance to really stick the knife in, as usual

Yesterday, was a loss, yet all I can see is excuses to why it was, like there were about losing a two goal lead and drawing against Southampton

It's ok by me to hear that, it beats being negative, but if Roeder had the same results from the last 5 games, I can guarantee you the reactions wouldn't be so accommodating

Nothing has changed here, no matter how much people want to think it has

The results are the same, the players are the same, the set up in formation and general ideas are the same

It's the same
