and with the circumstances he's under, he can't implement most of his ideas, so he does what he can with what he inherited (which is exactly what anyone else would have to do if they came in too)
Under the circumstances, I think he does alright. I understand why people hate his arrogant nature in front of the media, I f**king hate Alex Ferguson every time he opens his mouth and he's a total bastard, but I'd have him as norwich manager any day
I'm not comparing Roeder to Ferguson, but they both actually talk utter s**t in interviews if anyone bothers to listen (most don't cos they win, when they start losing they will)
In terms of on the pitch, I think he needs a lot of time to implement all his plans.
Whether we finish 1 point from safety or 10 and finish 14th, neither mean anything if progress hasn't been made
I think it has with the players that have come here, it's obvious Roeder wants rid of some of the high earners so he can build a side of his own, a want of any new manager
He's proved with the signings he's made, that he can get good players at a reasonable price, or for free
Get a new guy in, and you'll only get the same, with different ideas, or someone who needs backing to implement their own ideas. If they don't get that support from the board, then they'll look a laughing stock also
Also, we're not a massive catch for a propective quality coach
Sack Roeder now and that's just suicidal imo. I don't have any doubts about Roeder like you've asked because under the constraints he's put under, he handles it all pretty well
If he was magilton from this season, with all that money, and some very iffy results, I'd understand most of the questioning
Todays result is very disappointing, I admit that, but by no means does it mean we're relegated, or that Roeder knows f**k all etc
