The main problem is that she said on national TV

and elsewhere over and over again that she never expected to see a penny back. Now that has been shown to be a blatant lie to boost her popularity at the time.

Personally, I wouldn't want to see all that money go to nothing, but then I wouldn't have ever said it or "if someone came along with ?20m for players I'd stand aside" unless I meant it.

She's discredited in my mind for lying about her intentions. The way things are going she'll get nothing for her shares anyway, so she might as well step aside now. It's not as if she's short of a million or three.

But it's up to her I guess. It's her money.
