We are not worse off, I really disagree with that.

Etuhu, Safri and Earnshaw all left under Grant and we still had Thorne, Hughes, Robinson and Shackell. Doherty was playing dreadful football, Croft was nowhere near the player he currently is and Marshall is a better keeper than Gallacher. Clingan and Pattison are great additions to the team and though Huckerby is missed, he'd not have been around forever anyway.
