what is interesting (and news to me anyway) is that after the initial deal for ?6m fell though they released this statement User Posted Link which includes
"Nationally and regionally, the property market has grown considerably in the 14 months since the Club agreed a conditional sale of the land to Wilson Connolly"
and how did we manage to cash in on these considerable increases?

by selling for ?6m...
