There was a load of this on Five Live's phone-in last night

which I was unfortunate enough to hear while I was cooking - they were trying to get people to phone in to say why they did/didn't boo Ashley Cole.

Do they not have pre-production meetings at the BBC, where they chat about this sort of thing?

When "DJ Spoony" said in the meeting "I fink we should talk about Ashley Cole getting booed, an' that. Birminum.", why did no-one say "He was booed because he's a odious little weasel c**t of a man, and not even Chelsea fans like him that much. Let's not do that on the show, that will make really s**t radio. Everyone knows why he was booed." ?
