We can't just splash money we don't have - unless we want to end up like the Shite

We effectively did that with Huckerby and Ashton and now income is vastly reduced, the purse strings are bound to be tighter. Doncaster (I think) did say that any money Worthy made from sales would be made available for signings, but we've spent at least some of that on new players - including wages don't forget. I suspect there's some left in the kitty, but the right players have also got to be available at the right price (ie. cheap)
