The Mormons take this stuff very, very seriously. He also managed to connect our family to King Edward II (1307-1327). He gave the family tree to my grandmother on her 90th birthday a few years ago - he brought it in a big poster tube and it stretched around her living room more than once ...

And yes, you're probably right about the spelling - although it's only changed once since the 18th century I think.
