Thoughts on yesterday

1. All in all a decent performance. Very good first half, lost it a bit after we scored in the second half for 10 mins or so and again at the end were perhaps fortunate not to throw away all the hard work with the two chances they missed. Having said that we are playing some of the best passing football I can remember for sometime and I am confident that once we get that first win in the bag plenty more will follow. Hopefully the first will come at Plymouth in a couple of weeks time.

2. Best atmosphere for a while and it was nice there was a bit of a buz back at CR yesterday, especially as it was so hot in the Barclay which sometimes kills the atmosphere. Thought given their position in the league the Brum support was poor in terms of numbers.

3. Really liking our new centreback pairing.

4. Good to see Semi back in the team.

5. In my view we are 2 players short of being a very decent team. Hopefully one of those players is Bell. We all know who the other player we need is!

6. If the rumour of ?1.5m for Shack is true then bite their hand off.

7. If the rumour of Keogh for Shack is true then bite their hand off.
