Keep it in the dressing room or on the training ground. Have a go at all of them, one of them, whoever within the club itself-but when it comes to the media, praise them up, protect them, support them, or, at worst, say nothing.
Worthy rarely, if ever, slagged anyone off in public and I think players like and support that kind of manager. You wouldn't get company MD's coming out in the staff magazine or whatever saying that "...so and so in marketing had better buck his/her ideas up, or they'll be out..." and that should apply to us.
Maybe I am being a little soft to the highly paid and pampered professional footballer but, if Wes goes into sulk mode now, or it affects him negatively in any way, then thats not good.
Of course, when JC missed his pen on Saturday I was giving him it very large, right here, and I realise that makes me a hypocrite!
