NCFC: the reality.. (compared with last season)

Currently...
We have a better defence
We have a midfield that is about the same
We have a worse forward line

Our forward line will improve with the addition of one more striker and Lupoli getting match fitter.

Bell will come in to the midfield, Hoolahana will settle, Pattison will be more effective this season.

Defence will continue to improve.

Overall: team will get better, will gel better, performances will improve. Roeder and Clark for a whole season is better than Roeder and Clark for six months, picking up the turds left by Grant.

QED, we'll do better this season - somewhere between 8th and 13th I reckon. Injuries may knock us lower, good Jan signings and a bit of luck may take us higher.

I'm not an eternal optimist, I'm certainly not one of this boards c**ty pessimists either of course. This is my view. Remind me of it in 8 months. The end.
