To answer Ben's question below - the IT and Property & Facilities bit was run by the ex-NU organisation when we mergerd with CGU. General Insurance was headquartered out of Norwich. Life was headquartered out of York (ex-CGU location).

The actual percentages was ex-CGU 51%, ex-NU 49% of the new company.

So I guess it was a fairly even split one way or another and there are still thousands of Norwich based staff who work for NU Life.

Most CGU staff saw it as a takeover by NU really.
