i was only aware that Scotch was the original form of how the Scots referred to things

from Scotland, not that they has a problem with it (Burns used Scotch not Scottish)

however, now that i know the history behind it (Scotch being too anglicized) i shall do my fellow Celts the honour of never using that term to describe them again.

Henceforth i shall always use the term 'Jocks'
