Pants, question for you...

In your opinion, why do you think the officials influence matches to protect the big four. Do you think they accept cash bribes from the big four?
It's just because I can't see what benefit there would be for referees leaning towards being favourable to the big 4 clubs on the pitch. If anything it damages their credibility?
