When I was a very young AB I tried marmite and didn't like it.

"Yuck," I said, "I don't much care for that." And I never tried it again.

Some years after that, presumably after some maturation of the old taste senses, I tried Twiglets, and rather liked them. Loved them in fact. Practically hoover them up now.

Only now, in my thirty second year on this rock, does someone see fit to tell me that Twiglets are marmite flavoured.

You could have knocked me down with a breath.

All these years I've probably liked marmite and never known it.

What a waste.

Am I quite likely to like marmite then? Should I get some from asdas tonight?
