Agreed......

Ages since I have come on here but this whole situation has got me feeling a bit annoyed. The statement from the club last night was not thought through very well in my opinion.

For a start the statement says 'We look at the individual, we look at what they want to achieve and we look at the financial viability of their proposition. In the case of someone seeking to take control of the club and at the same time invest ?20 million in the playing squad this would take a minimum of ?56 million....' There are certain things here I don't understand as the press has reported that

1) The individual is exactly what Delia has been looking for, a fan, not foreign and willing to let her stay on as the face of the club.
2) What they want to achieve... he doesn't want to make money from the deal, he wants to improve the team and get us to the next level.
3) He doesn't seem to be seeking to take control of the club!

Instead of implying things, the details of what is being offered need to be said. Delia and Michael came close to losing the fans last year with Grant and only just got them back with the appointment of Roeder. If this deal does not come off and there is not a good reason reported, they will lose the fans completely and will be booted out leaving no money at all!

We could really miss out this season without investment, we need something, I really hope we don't lose out because of ego's and the club wanting to get too much money.
