The signing of Earnshaw meant a slow Fleming was still first choice with either Shackell or Doherty overlapping. Any bad performance was blamed on either when in reality Flem was the liability, with us just remembering the good times
Even now, we're still talking about the merits of a decent centre back pairing, something we were doing the day Earnshaw came to us
It was a stupid signing and it's not benefitted us at all, instead it's made us worse
