we could have still gone down that year

We had just lost a high profile striker and had money to go for it with a replacement at half the cost. What on earth is wrong with that? Worthy would have been crucified for not getting a replacement. People moan all year round about lack of ambition and yet it's used against a manager years later. Strange.
