I don't think this will be as bad...

as financially we don't have to sell him (although we do for every other reason). But, as you say, we may have to accept a smaller bid from someone else in order to get rid. I think Portsmouth are taking the piss though, if they think they can get him for the figures they are offering. I don't think he's that good, but compared to other prices he's worth at least ?1.5m.
