Peter Grant's biggest handicap

Was injuries. People moaned like f**k about the balance of the team and, on occasions, Grant certainly didn't help himself. But during his reign he never had a fully fit squad to choose from.

Glenn Roeder came in and has done very well having an almost entirely fit squad and a largish selection of loans. It is rather noticeable how the wheels have fallen off in recent weeks after a run of suspensions and injuries.
