we have shipped all the s**t out - agreed
have competition for places - agreed
a team spirit - agreed
and we are winning games- agreed
as far as most "intelligent" supporters are concerned, however we got there is up to Roeder - agreed
All utterly obvious and uncontroversial points, which have got nothing to do with Roeder's treatment of Huckerby.
"Roeder is only stating a matter of fact" - now that I don't agree with. What Roeder is saying (as Maillot Jaune has correctly deciphered) is "the way I've treated him has nothing to do with why he's leaving". I suspect that's not so; I suspect Hucks would love another year here. I also think it's disingenuous for Roeder to be pretending that he's got an open mind about Hucks
But the real point is footballing reasons. If you were a Chumps right back, would you rather be up against Gibbs or Hucks? Especially for the last 30 mins. Hucks isn't past it yet, this isn't like Iwan (whose fitness had just gone). I just don't agree with leaving a player as good as Hucks out of the SQUAD, especially in favour of Gibbs
