we don't play 4-4-2 though

that was part of our problem last season - we didn't have 4 proper midfielders. No way is Hucks a midfielder, because he switches off when the opposition get the ball. He's not a striker either so we are really playing 4-3-1-2. At the end of least year, given that Bentley was about as much use as Hucks when the other team had the ball, we were effectively playing 4-2-2-2. And given that Francis is better going forward than back it was more like 4-1-1-2-2. Some vaguely sensible formations would be nice this year but I'm not convinced it will happen (unless, god forbid, Hucks gets injured)
