Just suggesting - not very coherently - that if it's true that you get more points for beating better teams, then in some ways our ranking might be artificially low.

i.e. we keep getting drawn against weaker teams, who we always get past, and only ever come unstuck in the knock-out stages of major comps, generally against pretty good sides. I'd say we were probably about even with the best in Europe at the moment (but probably some way behind Brazil....)
